أهمية منطقة المحيط الهندي والهادئ في التصورات الجيوسياسية للفواعل الاقليمية والدولية : التنافس الصيني – الياباني انموذجا

تسعى هذه الدراسة الى تسليط الضوء على الاسباب التي ادت الى تبني الاوساط الاكاديمية ومعظم الفواعل الاقليمية والدولية لمصطلح المحيط الهندي والهادئ كفضاء جغرافي استراتيجي اوسع في تصورهم الجيوسياسي المعلن ، بدلاً من المصطلح السابق والذي يطلق عليه آسيا - المحيط الهادئ ، حيث يشكل الفضاء الجغرافي الجديد منطقة استقطاب دولية واقليمية تمتد من السواحل الغربية للولايات المتحدة الامريكية الى منطقة المحيط الهندي . تقدم هذه الدراسة ايضا مثالاً للإهمية الجيوستراتيجية التي تشكلها منطقة المحيط الهندي والهادئ ضمن التصورات الجيوسياسية للفواعل الدولية والاقليمية ،وذلك من خلال استعراض ديناميكية التنافس الاستراتيجي بين الصين واليابان في منطقة المحيط الهندي والهادئ .
