Author Guidelines

The editorial board of Alustath Journal for Human and Social Sciences seeks to raise the impact factor of the journal in preparation for entering the global scientific database. Accordingly, Alustath journal publishes research that is characterized by scientific sobriety, cognitive value, integrity of language, accuracy of documentation, and according to the author guidlines 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

 Publishing Conditions:

The editorial board shall be responsible for approving the publication of the scientific research submitted to the Journal after reviewing it and ensuring that it meets the terms and conditions of the approved publication without regard to race, sex, religious belief, ethnic origin, nationality or political philosophy. The scientific value shall be taken into consideration and the standards of ethics of scientific research, safety of work, language, non-quotation and plagiarism shall be taken into consideration. The editorial board is committed to work continuously to improve the scientific assurance of the journal, through the adoption of research publishing condition based on its importance, clarity and delivery to meet the terms and conditions of publication approved by the researchers.

 

Privacy:

  The chairman and members of the editorial board shall not declare any information concerning the research submitted to the journal other than the author, editors, consultants and publisher as necessary.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

 It is prohibited to use material in unpublished research from the editor-in-chief and members of the editorial board for research purposes that belong to them without the express written consent of the researcher.

Time Accuracy:

Reviewers should evaluate research within a period of less than two weeks and not more than one month. And in the event of his apology for the evaluation, the editorial board shall be informed within a period not exceeding one week.

Privacy :

Blind reviewing is the method used to evaluate the research with confidentiality, and may not be disclosed or discussed with others except with the editor-in-chief of the journal or his/her representative .

Objective Criteria :

Adoption of objective criteria in reviewing and exceeded the personal criticism of the researcher. Reviewing must be supported by scientific opinions of arguments and documentation, and in conformity with the regulations and standards adopted in the publishing journal.

 

 Approval of Refernces:

The reviewers should submit a detailed report to the editorial board in case the researcher does not restrict the publishing rules and standards in the journal. It is proven from the safety of citation to the refernces. The researcher should prove that the search is free of any plagiarism. Therefore, the Editor-in-Chief shall be notified of the existence of similarity or overlap between the research under evaluation and the other published research as per the reviewer's knowledge.

 

Duties of the Researcher:

-  Research Criteria

The researcher/researchers must adhere to the adopted publishing instructions and regulations of the journal and the style of writing the research and to secure the availability of rigorous research standards of the clarity of the objective and display the results accurately and discuss these results in order to achieve the objectives of the search, following objective and systematic procedures. Research must be enhanced with details of the deployment for modern scientific references. Similar results of other researches should not be repeated or included, as it violates the ethics of writing research, the researcher must sign an undertaking to do so.

 

- Scientific Plagiarism :

The researcher should avoid plagiarism or quote words or ideas of others and include them as the work of the researcher, or quote without reference to their original refernce. And that all research is subject to detecting plagiarism before sending it to the reviewers and the letter of acceptance of th research.

- Multiple, Simultaneous or Redundant Publishing :

The researcher is committed to not send his research to other journals after the delivery of research for the journal, otherwise this will violate the instructions of publishing.

 

- Name and Titles of Researchers :

Names and their academic ranks of researchers should be mentioned and one of the researchers  should be appointed as a follow-up coordinator with the journal. The journal is not committed to refund the research and its fees in case of rejection of the reviewers.

 

- Significant Errors in Published Research :

The researcher or the researchers take all the notes and corrections of the reviewers in compliance with the publication standards of the journal .
