Abstract

The Fatimid State was clearly distinguished by the fact that it was based on religious movement which was characterized also by encoring freedom of thought. Thus, many cultural and religious centers such as Al- Azher mosque and Al-hikma House were established to promulgate the Fatimid doctrine.
