طقوس الموت قبل الإسلام مقارنة بين طقوس الحضارتين العراقية والرومانية

الملخص

إهتمت الحضارات القديمة بطقوس الموت، لاسيما الحضارات التي إمتلكت إرثاً زاخراً بالمُعطيات الفكرية والعقائدية ، كالحضارتين العراقية والرومانية، وهما تحاولان بقدرٍ ما إيجاد حلولاً في فهم الموت ، وفي كيفية التعامل مع جثث الموتى، والطريقة التي يظهرون بها حزنهم وأساهم عمّا فقدوه، فابتدعوا طقوساً وسلوكياتاً معينةً لإكرام الجسد بِتطهيره) غسله وتعّطيره)، وسَتّره بِتكفينه، ودفنه لِحمايته من أيدي العابثين، ومن الأرواح الشريرة التي إعتقدوا بِقدرتها على إيذاء أرواح الموتى، فضلاً عن تقديمهما ــــ أي الحضارتين العراقية والرومانية ــــ تفاسيراً غيبيةً خياليةً نابعةً من الميثولوجيا الدينية ، التي تبدو الى حدٍ ما متشابهةً في طقوسهما وشعائرهما الجنائزية ، وفي تصوراتهما عن عالم ما بعد الموت ، الذي يقبع فيه الموتى تحت الأرض ، لعالم عُرِفَ عندهما بالعالم الأسفل.
