Abstract

This study aimed at establishing the science of explaining the comparative hadith in terms of finding out its idiomatic meaning, its origin, its beginnings, its stages, its origins, its controls, its rules, and its topics upon which it is based, and then determining the scientific methodology that the researcher pursues. It is also intended for the student who wanted to write about this science and find out the benefits, and goals of this type of modern explanation.

      The research has been organized into the introduction, the research problem, the importance of the topic, the reasons for choosing it, and previous studies. The research plan which consisted of the aforementioned introduction, seven sections and the conclusion. The research also included the most prominent findings, recommendations and  references.  Then, after the plan, a statement of the research methodology was followed. The most prominent results of the research are as follows:  First: A terminological definition of the term “explanation of comparative hadith” was not mentioned in the books of the applicants, with the idiomatic definition that is based on balance and comparison between opinions, but it found practical applications to it.  Second: “Explanation of Comparative Hadith” is represented in two colors:

 A - Comparison of topics and that is in the comparison located in one hadith with one topic, or in several hadiths with different topics.

 B - Comparison in curricula and trends.

Third: The research on "Explanation of Comparative Hadith" is one of the most prominent methods for those who want to reach a just opinion on any issue related to the explanation of the hadith. Fourth: The research on "Explanation of Comparative Hadith" is considered one of the most prominent sciences to enrich the researcher's portfolio.
