Motivation for mastery by using the Carroll model for graduate students at Umm Al-Qura University to design an instructional software

This research aims to identify the following: The extent of the impact of mastery motivation to Umm Al-Qura University's students using the Carol model in designing an Instructional Software. The Significance of differences in motivation of mastery among Saudi female students of Umm Al-Qura University, according to the variables of their academic specialization. 3- To accomplish the goals of the research, the researcher developed a measure of motivation for mastery to use it on a sample of (31) students from Umm Al-Qura University, they were chosen intentionally in the second semester 1441 AH of graduate students who were studying a programmed instruction course. The statistical package of social sciences (SPSS) was used in data processing. The results of the research have shown: 1-Umm Al-Qura University students enjoy a high level of motivation using the Carol model in designing instructional software. 2- There are statistically significant differences between female students according to their specialization in motivation of mastery; recommendations are considering the research results.
