مدينة الرمادي وتطور وظيفتها التجارية

تم التركيز على دراسة الوظيفة التجارية لمدينة الرمادي ومراحل تطورها وعلاقة النشاط التجاري للمدينة بمركز المدينة، المتمثل بالمنطقة المحصورة بين شارع 17 تموز وشارع الوحدة، حيث تناولت الدراسة تحليل الخصائص الطبيعية والبشرية المؤثرة على نمو وتوسع مدينة الرمادي خلال وجودها التاريخي وإستمرار الحياة فيها. كذلك خصصت الدراسة إلى متابعة وتحليل المراحل التاريخية لتطور إستعمالات الأرض مع التركيز على إستعمالات الأرض التجارية والوظيفة التجارية. وركزت الدراسة على تحليل العناصر الجغرافية المكونة لمركز مدينة الرمادي، علماً إن مركز مدينة الرمادي يضم المنطقة القديمة للمدينة المتمثلة بمحلتي القطانة والعزيزية والتي تقع فيها منطقة الأعمال المركزية والمنطقة التجارية المركزية وقلب المدينة التجاري. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن للعامل التاريخي لتطور المدينة عبر مراحلها المورفولوجية قد أثر بشكل كبير على طبيعة المنطقة والخصائص الجغرافية التي تتصف بها.
