The role of community colleges in the Southern Region in promoting the importance of vocational education from the perspective of its faculty members

The present study aims to identify the role of community colleges in promoting the importance of vocational education from the point of view of faculty members. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a sample of (100) faculty members from different academic levels was selected in the community colleges. They were selected by simple random method from the study society of (218) faculty members. The two researchers used the descriptive approach. (25) items distributed in four areas, academic, planning and organization, and the possibilities and equipment, and social, and was verified the validity and persistence of the presentation to a group of arbitrators of the competent, The study found that the role of community colleges in promoting the importance of vocational education from the point of view of faculty members came to a medium degree. The study recommended the need to provide vocational education programs to suit the requirements of the labor market.
