Abstract

       The current research aims to know the nature of the relationship between the research variables: the Occupational competence of educational counselors and their relationship to empathy and openness to experience.

        The research sample was (200) educational counselors from Educational Baghdad (Karkh and Rusafa). It has been applied measurements of (Occupational competence, empathy, and openness to experience). Using the Pearson correlation coefficient and the t-test, Positive correlations are statistically significant (Occupational competence), empathy (and openness to experience).
