They were selected in a natural random way with an equal distribution, and to achieve the research goals, the self – comeassion scale was constructed by depeuding on Neffs theory (2003). The scale cousisted of (28) items distrib- uted over four domains (self- kindness, self- understanding, common general numanization, self – care, mental openness). The researcher identified four alternatives for this scale (always, often, rarely, sometimes) cally and analyzed the scale items logically and statically. The discriminatory force of items were extracted the psy- chrometic features for the scale; the index of scale validity was calculated by construct validity. The research- er also verified the scale items reli- ability in two ways (retest) which was( 0.85) and (Alfa Cronbach)equation which was ( 0.82) and the researcher arrived at the following results. The members of research sample have self- compassion. The members of research (males and females) do not differ in possessing self-compassion.
