Abstract

Abstract

The study was conducted at Suakin town from March 2018 to March 2019, to identify the effects of tourism’s activities on the natural and the cultural environment. The researcher used questionnaire and interviews as primary sources. References, and researches as secondary sources. The study showed that tourism’s activities have positive effect on the local culture. In contrast there were negative effects caused by tourists as  number of tourist were caused noise and air pollution, across the coast the number of coral had been reduced daily  by selling it to the tourist  what caused environment deterioration, the problem of water shortage, and the rising of food’s prices, many of diseases were been spread , also the clear effect  of constructional expansion  on the mangrove trees, the tourism seek to get specific kind of animals. The study recommended that the importance of preservation of the environment, cultural and natural resources, so as to prevent the activities which cause the environment deterioration, and support the tourists’ activities which have positive effects on the region and activate the environment legislations and conduct studies, also recommended by evaluating the environmental effects of tourism projects and institute Intensive awareness’s programs among tourists to preserve the environment.
