The Educational Contents Stated in Al- Sayyeda Zainab's Speeches and Sayings : An Analytical Study

Abstract

The present paper aims to identify the educational contents stated in Al- Sayyeda Zainab's (PBUH) speeches and sayings. The researcher has adopted an analytical study. The sample of the study consists of three topics which constitute (30) pages together with its mentioned explanations which have been found in Ibn Tawus Ibn Ali Ibn Musa Ibn Jaafer's book Al- Lohoof fi Qatla al- Tofuf sighs of sorrow upon the Martyrs of Karbala (1423 A.H). The book includes group of speeches and sayings by Al- Sayyeda Zainab (PBUH) immediately after the battle of KARBALA. To Achieve the aim of the study, the researcher has used the method of content analysis because it is the appropriate scientific method that can achieve its aim. The post classification has been prepared by the researcher to determine the educational contents and ideas stated in Al- Sayyeda Zainab's speeches and sayings (PBUH) (the idea) has been used as a unit of analysis together with (repetition) which has been used as a unit of statistics which is employed as an index to show the idea in each content. Besides it gives an equal weight to each unit in the content. The research has used holsti (1969) formula to calculate the coefficient of agreement that reached agreement to determine the idea concerning the researcher's two attempts with time interval of (97%) whereas the time interval between the researcher and the analyst is (96%) and the time interval between the researcher and the second analyst is (95%) while the agreement on the classification of idea coefficient according to the classification of educational content between the two attempts of the researcher is (95%) and between the researcher and the first analyst is (94%) and between them and the second analyst is (92%). And by arranging the scopes of Educational contents, results show that there are (158) ideas of analysis that have been arranged according to the Areas of educational contents pursuant to the analysis that have been arranged according to the Areas of educational contents pursuant to the analyzed sample of Al- Sayyeda Zainab's speeches and sayings (PBUH) after the battle of Karbala in descending order, the moral field gained a second order with (81%) and (34%) respectively and the theistical field gained the third order with (15 and 18%). In the light of the results, the researcher comes up with some recommendations and suggestions.
