The Historical Roots of German Unity

Abstract

     German unity was one of the most important historical events in the 19th century. Because of the variables it was able to leave on the international political scene in all its political, economic and even social aspects, it was therefore necessary to highlight the knowledge of the most important elements and economic factors that led to the establishment of this unit;the Zullverein which was the Foundtion Stone of the German unity. In this research, we discussed the most important elements on which the Union was based in all its economic, industrial, agricultural and commercial trends, which contributed to the political rapprochement between Prussia and the German States.
