The Night in the Poems of Ibn khafaja

Abstract

      The research paper deals with the poems of a famous poet, Ibn-Kafadga, who tackled the themes of life and nature throughout his poetry. He presents nature and its beautiful landscape in a very clear and optimistic way which is far away from ambiguity and complexity. In addition, the poet has used night and its meaning to express his different poetic purposes. In the sense that, the meaning of night in praising or commendatory poems differed from love poetry or flirtation poems . For that reason, we tackle different types of poems to make the image clear for the readers.
