Abstract

The current research aims to: Identifying Suicidal Intentions Among Divorced Women Marriage is viewed as a social institution that includes a set of norms regulating the relationship between spouses. The strength of this structure relies on solid foundations such as proper selection and compatibility in social aspects. Marriage imposes on spouses a set of mutual obligations and rights ensuring the continuity of marital life and enabling the family to fulfill its basic functions Despite the psychological, health and social significance marriage, offers to individuals and society, the phenomenon of divorce has been increasingly prevalent in recent times across various communities Divorce has become a widespread issue affecting nearly every society for this reason, social and psychological researchers have focused on studying the psychological, biological and social factors contributing to rising divorce rates ,given their negative impact on societal stability. Suicidal intent is defined as the level of determination or desire an individual has to end their life, as well as their capability to act on this desire (Thomas Joiner,2005), the researcher developed a scale for measuring suicidal intent based on Thomas Joiner 's theoretical model and definition, the scale consists of 30 items designed to measure suicidal intent among divorced women with three response options: Women with three response options: Often "Sometimes" and Rarely

الملخص

يُنظر إلى الزواج بوصفه مؤسسة اجتماعية تحتوي على مجموعة من المعايير التي تنظم العلاقة بين الزوجين، وتعتمد قوة هذا البناء على أسس متينة مثل حسن الاختيار، والتوافق في الجوانب الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والثقافية والسلوكية، وأنَّ الزواج يفرض على الزوجين مجموعة من الالتزامات والحقوق المتبادلة مما يضمن استمرارية الحياة الزوجية، وإدارة الأسرة لوظائفها الاساسية، وعلى الرغم من الأهمية النفسية والصحية والاجتماعية التي يقدمها الزواج للفرد و المجتمع تشهد ظاهرة الطلاق انتشاراً متزايداً في الآونة الاخيرة في مختلف المجتمعات، إذ أصبحت هذه الظاهرة شائعة ولا يكاد يخلو منها أي مجتمع، لهذا السبب اهتم الباحثون الاجتماعيون ونفسيون بدراسة العوامل النفسية والبيولوجية والاجتماعية التي تسهم في زيادة معدلات الطلاق؛ نظراً لانعكاساتها السلبية على الاستقرار المجتمع، تُعرف النية الانتحارية بأنها مستوى التصميم أو الرغبة لدى الفرد في إنهاء حياته، وكذلك القدرة على القيام بذلك (Thomas joiner2005)، قامت الباحثة ببناء مقياس النية الانتحارية بالاعتماد على التعريف والأنموذج النظري لتوماس جوينر ( 2005Thomas joiner)) ويتكون المقياس من (30) فقرة تقيس النية الانتحارية لدى النساء المطلقات، وان بدائل الإجابة ثلاثية هي (غالبا-أحيانا-نادرا)
