Abstract

Sultan Al-Arslan is the second great Seljuk sultans whose rule lasted for nine and a half years, extending from 455 AH / 1063 AD until 465 AH (AD 1072), which is within the period of the beginning and the stability of the Seljuk state.  He described this Sultan as an ambitious and distinguished military inclination. He spent all his reign in wars and expansion, whether in consolidating his rule against the internal challenges he faced from the Seljuk house or from other external challenges and rebellions . His internal efforts to stabilize the government and highlight the internal challenges he faced, including the challenges of the Seljuk family and how to overcome them
